Texas is rich in diversity. Our views, convictions, and experiences vary greatly, but those differences make us the greatest state in our great nation. Even further, District 117 is a microcosm of that diversity with a combination of city, suburban, and semi-rural areas. The idea that one or two points of view define who we are is short sighted at best. We’ve been influenced to believe that you have to be completely right or left leaning otherwise you are either wrong or wasting your time. I believe that most of us in the real world are somewhere in the middle. The government exists to serve the people it represents, not to dictate and restrict their rights and frivolously spend their money. My goal is to be the best representation of this district as I can possibly be, by increasing your ability to choose what’s best for you and your family and by encouraging growth by decreasing restrictions. DO WHAT’S RIGHT BECAUSE IT’S THE RIGHT THING TO DO, regardless of the outcome or repercussions, that’s how I’ve chosen to live my life, and that’s why I believe I’m the right choice to represent our community!
